Getting more traffic to your website
How do you get more traffic to your website?
This is probably the most frequently asked question I get. Getting traffic is not a mystery. You simply need to get your offer put up and get it functional, whether it's a squeeze page or an order page, just get it working and then lets focus on getting some eyeballs looking at it.
A lot of new folks think that submiting your site to search engines is going to do something for you. Never submit your site to search engines, you should get links to your site on other sites and let the engines find you. You can do this by simply posting on forums and leaving your signature with a link to your site or post comments on other folks blogs.
Both of these tactics will get your site listed in the search engines but the most powerful way is to submit an article that is relavant to your page and in the bio of that article link to your page using your target keywords. Have no more than 2 links in your bio.
Here are some traffic sources you may come to love:
You can use this list of traffic sources to produce traffic easily. I will be adding sources to this list regularly. Please feel free to let me know what kind of results you have had from any by leaving a comment below.
You should test your pages regularly, one multivariate tester that I like to use is called muvar. By constantly improving your sales page with a little bit better converting one you will be giving yourself little payraises all the time. You should be constantly testing every aspect of your landing pages.
